Humax HDR-Fox T2 Details

First rumoured back in December 2009, the HDR is the long awaited follow up to the hugely successful HD-Fox T2 Freeview receiver.

Now due out this month at an RRP of £329, the HDR Fox T2 will cater for SD and HD broadcasts, and sport a large 500GB hard drive (giving up to 125 hours of HD video).

It will also play back photos, music and video from it’s USB port, and connect to your home network via an ethernet cable (sorry, still no WiFi) for sharing content with your PC and, ever more crucially, access to BBC iPlayer and other catch up services.

Humax missed launching before the World Cup when other manufacturers were promoting their boxes Hi Def capability, but the new Fox T2 box looks good and may still deliver the goods.

Note: For Freesat the king of boxes is still the Foxsat HDR 500. The HDR-Fox T2 is a Freeview only recorder .
